Making More Money in Your Core Business
It becomes very important to identify your core business. If you have a job or if you have a business it matters not because your core business is where you earn enough to invest, start other businesses, diversify your interest, set aside money for retirement and continue to create an exciting future for yourself.
It all starts with making as much as you can in your core. Therefore, the question this week is what are you going to do to become excellent in the delivery and profitability in your core business? Please make sure you do not read this as a say Oh, that's for entrepreneurs not for those of us who have a job or work for a company. No, it's for everyone! Remember, I talked about the importance of learning what your customers need and providing it with excellence. This can sometimes be a daunting task. What are you doing to make it happen in your work life? Take matters in your own hands, do and be the best! Do what you have got to do. I believe you can do it!
My focus this year is two fold. The Wealthy Women Club and the Catherine Eagan Financial Show. Both are very demanding tasks BUT God has given me everything to enjoy including my life's work. And this is the Best Year of My Life, and your too! 2008 I am going to have my first Wealthy Women Conference, in an International venue - another country and I want you to BE THERE! The show began airing in the Detroit market this week! I am so excited but i have a long way to go! I believe in the God in me to achieve my greatness!

Minister Eagan, my core business is transportation and travel. I recently stated that we (my husband and I) will make $2,000,000 this year. The amount is not hard to make,We generate much more each year but getting my husband to save is the problem. I believe, God is opening his eyes to "saving as much as you can." He will be with me at the "Wealthy Women Conference." in the Turks and Cacios. I am praying that God will give him more wisdom and revelation pertaining to saving, so that the $2,000,000 in profit will be a reality. Your word of knowledge, you spoke to me in China, is coming to pass.

I recently wrote that my husband and I will make 2,000,000 this year, after re-reading my comment. I have to correct my statement and re-state the amount of money I expect to make earn from my core. I placed one to many zeros in the number without noticing it. The correct amount is 200,000.

I have attended all of this week’s Economic Revival. I just wanted to thank you and Dr. Eagan for every word that you spoke in due season over all of us. Every time you share my testimony of the $160k, I get even more encouraged, and ask for the Faith of God. Before I can even ask for anything, God manifest. Tuesday, you prophesized that God would not allow us to get any sleep; and He would speak to our creativity. Well, He did just that. He gave me 70+ additional (yes additional) ideas, books and shows to write and produce. I said additional, because I am still on full from our February 1st, 2008 divine appointment. I faithfully call in Monday’s, and appreciate your financial intelligence & anointing. Several weeks ago, you said that God would give/stir up God ideas in us. That night, I also got little to no rest. God gave me over 60 books to write. This week, I have completed two of those books, and wrote several television shows. You and Dr. Eagan have to come on one of my shows. God is not playing, and I am not either!!!!
Tonight, you challenged us to state what we will lock down on over the next 3 months to eliminate our debt. For the next 3 months, I will tremendously eliminate my entertainment outings. Instead of attending sporting events, plays, movies, etc., I will use that money as my debt eliminator.
You also challenged us to obtain our credit reports, and identify how much debt we will be out of by year-end. God has blessed the work of my hands to eliminate $429k of debt. This amount includes my mortgage, credit cards, student loans and ANY other debt.

Hello Minister Eagan,
I attended your meeting in Detroit on 04-17-08. I want to thank you for all that you pour into the lives of us (wealthy women). As I look back on all the wisdom I've gained about personal finance from listening to your teleseminars over the past year I see how God has changed my mindset on money and debt. This time last year I had about $28,000 in debt, today I have about $10K in debt (student loan) and am believing to have that paid off before the year is out.
Also, wanted to make my public declaration of putting on "lock down" shopping for clothes or shoes (which I love to do) the next 90 days. I'm believing God for an increase of $22,000 more this year.
Thank you again for all the sowing you are doing in our lives and I look forward to being 1 of the 10,000 wealthy women millionaires you've been called to develop to the Glory of God.

I attended last nights "getting out of debt" seminar. I am truly inspired by your work, and I am very excited about my financial future.
God works in mysterious ways, and I know that it was not an accident or coincidence that you pulled me from the back row to front to hear your message. And believe me I HEARD it loud and clear. I joined the wealthy women club, and purchased your dominating money workbook.
After much thought I have decided to pay off 10% ($11,346) of my law school student loan debt this year, which is $113,462.
Also, the area that I am "locking down" for the next three months is eating out. I spend too much money eating lunch and dinner out. You're right, that money can be used to eliminate debt.

I am putting the lock down on shopping for myself for the next 90 days! I am believing and will eliminate $11,000 in debt this year.
Your ministry has truly been a blessing to me. One way is that I was a big fan of leasing cars, I would lease a vehicle
every other year. Each Vehicle I would increase the options and the price. In your meeting back in March (Novi) you spoke on leasing cars. I took in all that you said. I will be turning in my lease car next week and I was blessed with the opportunity to purchase a 2005 car with 20,500 miles for $9,000.

Dear Minister Eagan:
Last year I attended a breakfast seminar with Marilyn Hickey. She ministered on seeing God's Big Picture, believing God for the how to do it wisdom, and networking--Divine Connections. You and Dr. Eagan are truly Divine Connections! I retired two years ago, and my mindset has certainly changed since listening to you on Monday nights starting last fall, and attending the financial seminars. I give God all the glory, honor and praise, and cannot thank Him enough for you. Words are really inadequate to express how blessed we all are to have you pour such anointed wisdom into us.
I am still believing God to show me the big picture.
I am locking down $21 per month. This seems like a small amount, but I was already on a serious self-imposed lockdown. I have one credit card "invoice" and one same as cash invoice totalling $1,312.88. Both will be paid off by 12/31/08. I am projecting a $4,500 reduction off the principal of my mortgage. I pay $158.66 extra each month which is applied to the principal, which equals two extra monthly mortgage payments annually.
I left the April 17 seminar with the answer to a question that I had prayed about. I went to the Social Security Office yesterday. I currently receive a Survivor's Benefit. I was previously told if I take my SS benefit now, it would be $400 more than I currently receive. If I wait til 1/1/10, it would be $700 more. I liked the $700, but it meant that I would draw down some of my savings. When I confirmed the amount yesterday, it was $538 more if I take it now. So, effective next month, my monthly income will increase by $516. Glory to God! "Make as much as I can. Save as much as I can."

Enjoyed the Novi seminar on 4/17. I am locking down on fast food and pizza for the next 3 months. I dont eat much fast food, but like pizza. Ah, it ain't good for me anyway.
FYI Min Eagan: I locked down a while back on going out to Starbucks too. However, I did find some great deals on eBay. Search for 'Starbucks Coffeee'. I bought several pounds and it came out to $5/lb. So I just make it at home now (be sure not to use tap water though).

May God continue to keep and bless you Minister Eagan. I am 5 days late with my lock down confession. I have decided to lock down on the hair, nails, fast food and shopping.
I can wash my hair and polish my nails. I will go and get these ends trimmed every 8 weeks though.
I was gifted with Dominating Money last year and to my own shame haven't put any of it into practice. I just joined the Wealthy Women Club this past Thursday and I have decided to actually apply the tools to my life.
The only thing that keeps us from achieving is that we don't apply what is learned.
I want to own my home out right not pay a mortgage.
I want to retire from working for a corporation when or before I am fifty years of age so that I can serve God full time.
I want to be able to volunteer my service to people without wondering how I will survive.
And so many of us want to be free but we continue to tie our own hands.
I don't have to live in debt if I don't want to.
Wealth is achievable for me Right Now!
If I commit to do what I am supposed to do!
LOCK DOWN!
And if I Lock Down now, I will be prepared to invest in the things that are coming down the pipe.
Thank you for teaching us that we are called to be good stewards.

Minister Eagan, First I want to thank you for the prophecy that I received from you last week. I receive it as a word from the Lord and I stand in agreement for the manifestation of that vision to come forth this year. Since our mentoring session I have secured the pricing for the libality insurance and will be securing it after I complete the documentation to become LLC. My goal for locking down is to stay out of all stores,I an going to cut out all expenses unless it relates to my business. My core business is to provide employment for people with special needs. I will pay off all credit cards debt and complete the system to franchise the deli through out the United States. My goal through my core business is to make 100,000 dollars by April 2009.

Minister Eagan, a week ago, during the teleseminar, I said I was going to "lock down' on shopping at Whole Foods. I will continue to buy Organic, because I know organic foods are healthier than conventional foods, and I value my family and my health. The reason being, is I have found stores that sell some of the same organic products at a much cheaper price. I will be able to save money by shopping at these other stores also. I use to shop at whole foods three, some times four time a week. I was buying and spending more money than I really needed to,on food, on vitamins, on gas and time going back and forth. Now that I have found some of the same products at other stores at a cheaper price. I won't visit Whole Foods as often, therefore, I will save money, gas, and travel time, the other stores are closer to my home.
I feel that I have done my due diligent in pricing organic foods and vitamins.

She deserves all the glory because she worked hard to reach this point, there is no question about it, there is something else I want to add though, I think her success is also based on circumstances because sometimes is not enough to work hard and do the right thing, you also need some circumstances in your favor. I can't even dream to become a businessman yet because I still have a credit score to fix and there are thousands or perhaps millions of people like me.

I am following through with my intent to follow my passion and my core business, which are, incidentally, connected. I am also following through with the Word of the Lord from Min. Eagan, which was to research and start a patient advocacy business. I have now created my weblog, (911Lady@blogspot.com) have obtained my federal tax ID number, and am working on my business plan, business cards, stationary, etc. I will be starting on my Patient Advocate Certification and my RN starting in November. I am doing this to help others because many people have no idea how to negotiate through the healthcare maze, let alone understand their bodies, how they work, and what treatments and drugs to decide upon when they're sick.

I enjoyed the article and the site is a blessing. I have to admit, I feel like I have missed something in life. Everyone seems to be in business or working in positions that are way beyond what I am attempting to make by working double shifts at work(50,000). Any advice in what business ventures to create a cashflow that does not take a large investment would be a blessing. In addition, I am starting a new life(divorce, credit ruined, no savings!).
